what is architecture

Architecture, as a gender of art, makes it difficult to be defined , but for this reason also it is misunderstood for its aesthetic purpose. Architects aim to create buildings that have the same impress as art but it is wrong to be said that architecture in itself is ornament added to the building.Architecture is based on building ,and also as a field of study , based on some rules , works to make the building an expression of its creators ideas. As people evolved in time ,architecture went through a developing progress which also defined the improvements made in people's lifestyle. The first ever builders of the first architectonic constructions may have not known the real reasons why they where doing what their where doing , but after that ,based on experience and with the extension of their knowledge in other fields as well they started to think about other solutions for the problems that they may have faced. After this 'perfection' of the structure ,aesthetic started to became an aspect. This changes did not come as a result of adding ornament to the structure but by bending the structural forms themselves into forms of beauty.Architecture is the poetry of construction, said this because of the way that architects compose the structure's elements to empress the others like poetry does with words.
